Tharstern to showcase latest developments at the IPIA Expo

Leading MIS supplier Tharstern will be using the IPIA Expo to showcase several new features for the first time since their release earlier this year.

Visitors to Tharstern’s stand will be able to see a new web-based UI which allows users to create estimates, RFQs and orders in any location, on any device. Companies can also create separate log-in details for their own clients, giving them the power to create their own quotes, place orders, and track deliveries.

Inventory traceability is an increasingly important requirement for many manufacturers, especially those working with customers in the food and pharmaceutical industries, and Tharstern will also be showcasing new features that assist these companies. Their MIS now allows its customers to trace back every order to the raw materials, processes and operators used to produce it, giving them total traceability throughout their entire production cycle.

Smart packing and shipping are another two new features available to view at the expo, both of which help users manage complex, multi-location, multi-product campaigns. With this new functionality, the Tharstern MIS can now automatically calculate unique packing groups of SKUs for each delivery location, and identify the most appropriate packaging materials to use for each. The MIS will then automatically calculate the transit time for each location, and identify a ‘Ship By’ date that must be met in order to meet the ‘Due Date’ specified by the customer.

Head to stand 18 to catch up with a member of the Tharstern team and see the latest developments to the Tharstern MIS.
