Antalis recommended and supplied Priplak® Izilyss, a robust, cost-effective solution for tower print’s luggage tag project.
With costs rising in all areas, Tower Print Director Darren Pole was keen to find a strong, more cost-effective material for his client’s luggage tag requirement and turned to Antalis to find the ideal solution.
Tower Print had tried several options from a variety of suppliers which proved not to be strong enough to withstand the handling associated with loading and unloading luggage. Antalis recommended PRIPLAK® Izilyss Opaque, a lightweight yet strong and flexible polypropylene sheet with high opacity that makes it ideal for double-sided printing.
PRIPLAK® Izilyss Opaque is 100% recyclable, PVC-free, and has excellent cutting and creasing properties. Not only did Tower Print find that the PRIPLAK® Izilyss Opaque was less expensive than the substrate they had previously been using, it also proved to be a better product for the job.
Tower Print Director, Darren Pole, comments, “We hadn’t used Priplak Izilyss Opaque before and we are really impressed with how it printed and converted, so much so that we are recommending it for other jobs requiring a highly durable material suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It is also great that the product is 100% recyclable after use and PVC free, important criteria when recommending a substrate to our clients.”
