The IPIA is very proud to have participated in a joint delegation to No10 Downing Street to advocate for the print and paper industries, where we met with special advisors to the Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak MP.
We attended an industry roundtable, with a delegation from the paper industry, as the next step in a long-term process. Our collective aim is to educate the Government on the contribution of our industries to the economic and social progress of the UK – and then advocate for the structural and strategic support we need to thrive and grow for the long-term. Among the topics discussed was the contribution of our sectors to technology innovation and sustainability.
The roundtable builds on our initial meeting with No10, attended by IPIA Chair Charles Rogers, and his resulting invitation to a Business Leaders Reception hosted by Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden MP.
