Dorset based Dayfold Print are excited to announce a management buy out and the appointment of a new board of directors.
Headed by existing managing director Del Simmons the change of ownership is just the start of a five year plan to build on the fantastic reputation for creativity and quality that Dayfold has enjoyed since it was established in the 1980’s.
The Dayfold factory in Verwood already provides one of the widest ranges of creative print processes/finishes in the South but the buyout will see the start of numerous expansions into new markets.
On announcement to the staff Simmons added, “Dayfold is a great business and produces beautiful/creative/impactful printing, it is built on a highly skilled and experienced workforce many of whom have been with the businesses for 20 years or more. We want to keep what’s great about Dayfold but take it forward embracing new technologies/opportunities but keeping the DNA of what has made Dayfold so successful. There are lots of new developments to announce over the coming months so watch this space, you’ll be hearing lots more from us very soon” Simmonds added, “During the process of the MBO we began our move into the production of rigid boxes, this is a wonderful example of where the strengths of Dayfold (it’s knowledge of materials/applied finishes/different print processes) can be applied to similar related markets. We only installed the new machinery at the beginning of the year but sales are booming, boxes are just the start, watch this space!
