The Wykeham Journal, an annual report by Winchester College, has become a collector’s piece – as well as a much-anticipated read – for many recipients.
Designed and produced by award-winning Scotland-based design agency Contagious, each new edition of the journal takes on a slightly different edge to the previous year, whilst maintaining enough consistency to ensure they work well as a set.
Requiring a tactile paper with good sustainability credentials, that also offered excellent image reproduction, Contagious chose Antalis’ Olin Design papers and boards for the 2021 edition of the Wykeham Journal, which they entered into the most recent Antalis Creative Power Awards (ACPA).
Olin Design Smooth High White 250gsm, was selected for the cover while Olin Design Rough High White and Olin Design Rough Cream 120gsm, were used for the journal’s 76 text pages.

The journal was printed lithographically using a 4-colour press.
