Following a series of successful contract wins recently announced by FDM (Financial Data Management Limited), the London based document solutions company has taken the strategic decision to make a significant investment in their processing facility and have secured two state of the art Bowe Systec Fusion Cross high-speed production mail inserting systems.
Through comprehensive assessment and due diligence, FDM identified the Fusion Cross platform as the right technology to take the business to the next level of productivity and workstream integrity, introducing greater levels of automation and enhanced reporting, adding real value for their clients.
The Fusion Cross is the 24k per hour midrange version of Bowe’s stable of Fusion Inserters comprising 3 variants (I.E. Speed, Cross and Lite) currently available from the Bowe Augsburg factory in Germany, which is one hour away from Munich. These highly customisable machines, all sharing the unique patented “flow principle” digital inserting engine design, have been configured with a highspeed cutsheet (54K sheets per hour) input channel including camera reading. In addition, camera reading has been provided on two of the four encloser feeders, enabling the production of highly personalised matching applications.
“I am delighted that FDM have identified BOWE Systec as their preferred technology partner of choice to support the strategic direction of the business. The BOWE team in the UK and Germany look forward to building a long-term relationship with FDM and are fully committed to FDM’s future success. BOWE welcomes the opportunity to work in partnership with FDM on operational and commercial support as their needs evolve in securing new contracts to enable the future growth of their business.
At BOWE Systec we foster a collaborative relationship with clients by gathering their real-life feedback enabling adjustments and improvements to our Inserting, Sorting and Process Automation technologies. We facilitate this through regular engagement and via our annual BMF (Bowe Mailing Forum), which is also open to non-Bowe users, as we value the input and insight from the widest gamut of print and mailing businesses to be of paramount importance in shaping our future solutions”.Adrian Mills Bowe Systec UK Account Manager
Richard Farmer FDM Managing Director commented: “For 30 years our clients have trusted us to deliver critical communications on-time, every time. This investment will benefit existing and new clients through the use of Bowe’s state-of-the-art insertion technology and is the next step on FDM’s journey as a complete document solutions provider, adding to our capacity and further enhancing our automated processes. I am delighted to enter into this important partnership with the Bowe team.
