As the demand for improving brand loyalty catapults, brand owners are driven towards experimenting with innovate print solutions for a rising number of SKUs.
Demand for quick print and labeling, turnaround and compliance with new regulatory requirements means Print Houses are under increasing pressure to keep up with demand. So quite simply, how do they do it?
Technology is vital. With advances in digital print and labeling, the biggest names in Print and Labelling solutions are continuously evolving and will be showcasing product lines during the Packaging Innovations; Label & Print 2020 event in February with the objective of meeting visiting Print Houses who are diversifying into Packaging, established Printers looking to upgrade technologies and thousands of brands wanting to break boundaries in print communication.
Fulfilling the need for quality and speed, Domino will be showcasing the Domino N610i, the only label press that combines the productivity of flexo printing with the flexibility offered by rapid job change digital technology. The N610i can produce up to 2,250m of product in the same time to perform a 30 minute flexo make-ready. The Domino N610i capacity can produce 3,000m (9,900ft) per hour at 50m/min (165ft/min).
Enabling packaging to stand out on the shelf, printers can enhance digital print for packaging with Foil Finish. Duplo’s Digi Foil, does just that, offering an on-demand process that allows metallic foil with various designs and spot UV style.
Giving printers the ability to supply a unique offering, IPIA member, Vivid Laminating Technologies, are introducing a digital die-cutter that gives printers, converters and production houses the freedom to easily create unique and intricate products at cost-effective prices.
Supporting and enabling the growth of the UK print industry, Marian Stefani of the Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA) commented, ‘we’re encouraged to see so many printers diversifying into packaging. Events like Packaging Innovations offer a unique opportunity for the entire UK print community including OEMs, Converts, Print Houses and Manufacturers.’
Alongside Domino, Vivid and Duplo, industry leaders Epson, Dantex, Videojet and many more are bringing the best of Print into Packaging Innovations on 26th & 27 February at the NEC, Birmingham and we can’t wait!
