Antalis has added a new cost-effective product to its range of polypropylene Biprint sheets. New Biprint Wave is a reduced-weight product with an enhanced flute profile that helps maintain strength in lower thicknesses.
Unlike traditional straight fluting, the flute profile of this grade is manufactured by moving the die to create a small wave design. This gives the sheet more stability at low 3.5mm/600g thickness. Using a lighter board also has benefits, such as reduced material usage, transport costs, and cost efficiency. Biprint Wave is a good choice for printers looking to save cost against other 3.5 and even 4mm grades.
Biprint Wave will be stocked in white 3.5mm sheets. Bespoke makings provide more choice, including colours and short/long flute wave technology in thicknesses of 2 – 10 mm in 250 – 2000 g/m2 with a fire rated option.
New Biprint Wave is part of the existing Biprint range already available from Antalis. The Biprint range is Corona treated as standard. Biprint is resistant to moisture, strong and lightweight, and completely recyclable after use. This makes it the perfect substrate for outdoor and indoor signage applications. Biprint can easily be die-cut and converted into virtually any shape. It is extruded from polypropylene copolymer, making it much more durable than cardboard.
