Print4Printers, a leading trade print supplier specialising in NCR products, has opened applications for two new apprenticeships in its production department. These roles reflect the company’s ongoing commitment to developing skilled professionals in a sector facing an increasing shortage of experienced operators.
With many skilled print professionals reaching retirement age, the industry is experiencing a well-documented recruitment challenge. As digital printing technologies continue to evolve, traditional lithographic and finishing techniques are becoming less prevalent—but for many businesses, high-quality NCR forms remain an essential part of their operations.
Print4Printers has a strong track record of training apprentices in both printing and finishing, ensuring the long-term sustainability of its business and that of its trade customers. By investing in apprenticeships, the company is helping to secure the next generation of print specialists, equipping them with the skills needed to operate both modern and traditional printing equipment.
The two available apprenticeship positions are:
- Press Apprentice – A hands-on role learning to operate high-speed reel-fed printing presses, with a focus on NCR production, quality control, and colour management.
- Post-Press Apprentice – Covering key finishing processes such as cutting, binding, and creasing, ensuring printed materials meet trade-quality standards.
