The first UK installation of Konica Minolta’s high-volume AccurioPress C10500 series lands at Production Print Direct’s Burnley showroom — giving northern printers a unique opportunity to experience the future of digital print first-hand.
Production Print Direct has unveiled the latest jewel in its crown — the recently launched Konica Minolta AccurioPress C10500 high-volume digital press, complete with the advanced AccurioImage IC-614 Controller, now installed at its Burnley, Lancashire showroom.
In a major industry first, this installation is not only the UK debut for the C10500, but also the only demonstration and media testing facility for the HV KM range in the North. The range spans the C10500, C12010, and C14010, all of which can be specified with an optional white toner unit to unlock premium creative applications.

Konica Minolta Business Solutions’ launch of the AccurioPress C10500 and C10500S completes the brand’s flagship C14010 series. Designed for commercial printers, in-house print rooms, and high-volume enterprises, the presses marry exceptional image quality with advanced automation to streamline production, reduce manual intervention, and maximise uptime.
At the heart of their performance lies the IQ-601 Intelligent Quality Optimizer Unit, which ensures perfect colour consistency and registration by automatically adjusting and monitoring output in real time. Alongside this, the IM-104 Intelligent Media Sensor instantly detects paper type and weight, allowing uninterrupted production across complex, mixed-media jobs.
Operating at speeds of up to 105 pages per minute, the AccurioPress C10500 and C10500S can handle an impressive variety of substrates, from thin stock to heavyweight media up to 450 gsm. They can also print on long sheets up to 1,300 mm, embossed paper, envelopes, polyester, and cut-sheet labels — making them ideal for everything from packaging and invitations to high-impact marketing collateral.
The presses’ ability to deliver vibrant, high-contrast results on coloured, clear, or metallic materials opens new creative opportunities, while Konica Minolta’s proprietary Simitri V toner provides an offset-quality matte finish with lower fusing temperatures — reducing both energy consumption and paper impact.
