The listing of 600 companies is compiled by the Financial Times and Statista and highlights the European companies that are making progress in cutting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
The list focuses on businesses that have achieved the greatest reduction in their core emissions (Scope 1 and 2) between 2019 and 2024. Scope 1 and 2 emissions come respectively from a company’s own operations and from the energy it uses.
Whistl is the only UK fulfilment, parcels and mail business to make the ranking out of 20,000 businesses assessed.
“I am delighted that Whistl has been recognised as a European Climate Leader for our work and commitment to reduce carbon emissions and reach Net Zero by 2045.
