Ross Blackwood is to join Renz (UK) on a two-year BPIF Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
Starting on September 1 the apprenticeship training will be delivered by BOSS/ BPIF, the industry’s leading trade body of which Renz (UK) is a member. The BPIF is also the largest supplier of apprenticeships to the UK printing industry.
Ross will be based at Renz’s brand-new Luton premises. He will be mentored by Sales Office and Marketing Manager Stephen Partington who joined the business himself straight from school as a 16-year-old and who, in his earlier years at Renz, was awarded a Print Futures Training Bursary helping him to progress through the company.
In his role Ross will gain an overview and be taught all aspects of the business from the ground up. This will include amongst many duties, monitoring the progress of customer’s orders, inputting sales orders, assisting the sales team with enquiries, liaising with customer’s, monitoring stock levels for the purchasing department. He will also assist with managing all aspects of the multiple Amazon platforms upon which Renz has a presence.

We have employees who joined straight from school with limited academic qualifications in the past that now hold senior positions with over 15 years’ service”.
