The Debating Group has been holding debates in the House of Commons since 1975. They bring marketers, politicians, journalists and the public together to discuss the contentious political issues which surround marketing.

The IPIA, along with the BPMA took part in a Parliamentary debate on Monday 9th November 2020 where we debated against the motion set:


“Digital Communication is more important than ever in building brands”

AGAINST THE MOTION: IPIA council member Mike Hughes from Latcham Direct is took up the debate to argue the case for print and integrated communications, along with Carey Trevill, CEO of the BPMA.
