Antalis Packaging has appointed Ian Whitcombe to the role of Product Manager. The former Antalis National Key Account Manager brings over 20 years’ experience and knowledge of packaging to the position.
The appointment comes at a key time for Antalis Packaging in view of the ambitious growth plans the company has for its packaging business. John Garner, Head of Innovation and Design at Antalis Packaging said; “With his extensive sales experience and understanding of the packaging market, Ian is an invaluable addition to the Purchasing team, which is continually exploring and opening new markets. Antalis Packaging’s extensive range of packaging materials and machinery offers options to customers to improve the efficiency and sustainability of their packaging operations through reliability of supply and new product innovations.”
Asked about the move into product management, Ian commented: “After more than 20 years in sales, I wanted to share the knowledge I have accumulated, and this is a perfect fit with my new role. Antalis has ambitious plans for the next five years, for example its e-commerce range of packaging is growing all the time, and I am excited to be part of a team that is providing innovative packaging solutions to meet the challenges facing the packaging industry today.”
