Antalis reinforces its growth in the European Packaging sector with the acquisition of Speidel Verpackungen

Antalis, a global leader in the distribution of Papers, Packaging and Visual Communication, extends its presence in the European Packaging market with the acquisition of Speidel Verpackungen, a German manufacturer of custom-made packaging solutions. This new acquisition strengthens Antalis' commitment to a growing presence in the bespoke packaging sector, an important growth driver for the group.

Founded in 1981, Speidel Verpackungen is based in Baden-Württemberg, employing 60 people and generating close to €17 million in revenue in 2025, Speidel Verpackungen serves a broad customer base across industries including medical technology, mechanical engineering, metalworking and automotive.

Recognised as an innovative manufacturer of custom-made packaging solutions, Speidel Verpackungen focuses on the use of corrugated and heavy-duty corrugated board in combination with wood and foam materials. For 45 years, the foundation of their success has been expert consultation and a consistent solution-oriented approach in close collaboration with their customers.
