Canon have been busy exhibiting at the ACPME Conference which took place from 4th-7th June at the Chesford Grange Hotel in Warwickshire. The Association of Creative & Print Managers in Education is a not-for-profit organisation which supports creative and print managers working in Higher and Further education. The conference is organised every year providing several keynote sessions, workshops and networking opportunities with a range of suppliers exhibiting throughout.
This year the theme for the event was delivering excellence, adding value and Canon had a platinum sponsorship package in which they exhibited the “See the bigger picture” message by showing elements of the portfolio and how they support the education sector.
What was on display?
ColorWave 3800 on display!
The versatile large format Colorwave device showcased various applications across different medias with experts on hand to answer questions and print samples off the device, it was very popular during the event amongst delegates.
Canon Camera products
A number of cameras were on display which also attracted attention from Creative Managers who had the opportunity to try some of the products such as the R50, R100, R7, R10, R5, R3 along with a range of RF lenses including RF 5.2mm Dual Fisheye
Professional Print
Highlighting the recently launched V-Series line up on the TV screen and collateral for delegates to take away along with some very smart co-branded applications worked on with Duplo. The applications were relevant to education, all printed on our recently launched imagePRESS V1350, handed out to delegates to finish at the event on their DC-618 device. Applications included a certificate with embellishment and foiling, long sheet banner, a bound book (courses overview example) and business cards.
Maxify GX6050
There was also the Canon Maxify GX6050 on display, this new 3-in-1 printer is great for offices providing benefits with low running costs, pigment inks for higher quality, smart and stylish compact design and ability to support a range of medias including banners.
Canon speaker from Product Security
With education being a target for cybersecurity, it is very important for educational institutions to address. Our very own Product Security expert delivered a presentation giving an overview of Canon’s product security proposition.
The ACPME conference was a great event, and Canon look forward to more of these events in the future in order to showcase more of the portfolio to highlight the variety in products and solutions Canon can support businesses with.
