Eight Days a Week Print Solutions were thrilled to be awarded with the prestigious Customer Service Team of the Year for large enterprises at the Printweek Awards 2024.

On Wednesday 6th March, The Printweek Awards took place in London’s Brewery with a theme of ‘Where the Stars Align’ to recognise the success of the industry. Eight Days a Week Print Solutions (EDWPS) award of ‘Customer Service Team of Year’ marks a significant milestone for the company as they transitioned from the SME category to compete among larger enterprises. In addition, they were pleased to have their “world class customer service” recognised again after having won Customer Service Team of the Year – SME at Printweek in 2022.

According to the judges, “The company [EDWPS] says world class customer service is the ‘rule rather than the exception’ at the business. Its customers clearly agree. It boasts a very healthy 4.8 out of 5 rating on Google and Trustpilot’s review platforms. Eight Days a Week strives to go above and beyond the expectations of its customers and its retention rate of 95% confirms it regularly achieves this aim. Results speak for themselves and their approach to adding value is really impressive.”

EDWPS’ success can be attributed to several factors; ranging from an exceptional customer retention rate of 95% and an outstanding ‘excellent’ score in over 90% of customer reviews. Moreover, our 4.8 out of 5 ratings on independent review platforms such as Google and Trustpilot reflect their consistent commitment to delivering world-class customer service.

Lance Hill, Managing Director at EDWPS, comments: “Winning the customer service team award is a collective achievement, encompassing our customer-facing team, our dependable supply chain, and our valued customers. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this success.”

EDWPS were also proud to have received high commendations in three other categories:

  1. Environmental Company of the Year

EDWPS are proud to have been shortlisted for this just six months after achieving their B Corp certification. For the past 18 months, they have been working hard to achieve a level of commitment to business, clients, the environment & community to become certified. We’ve always been committed to operating as a sustainable, carbon-neutral business. However, the B Corp Certification in 2023, has taken the business to a whole new level.

  1. Company of the Year

Being shortlisted in this fiercely competitive category came as a delightful surprise to the team. However, achieving a highly commended status in their inaugural year as a Large Enterprise was an unexpected surprise.

  1. Trainee of the Year – Gabriela Solarek

Gabby, a valued member of the customer service team, achieved remarkable success last year, clinching three prestigious awards: Young Leader Award at the IPIA Recognising Excellence Awards 2023, Bronze Envelope for Bright Futures at the SMP Awards 2023, and Rising Star Award from The Printing Charity 2023.

Her dedication to excellence is evident in her exceptional performance, consistently exceeding expectations from both clients and colleagues. With a growing client list, Gabby is continuously seeking innovative ways to streamline processes and drive efficiency. Her thirst for learning and boundless enthusiasm are truly commendable, shaping her as an exemplary professional within the team.
