Morgana Systems Ltd, Milton Keynes, a Plockmatic International post-press product business, an “ever present” at The Print Show since its inception, will once again exhibit on stand A01 at the 2023 edition of the event.
Show debuts will be given to a number of products, including the new SC6500 high-speed cutting and creasing device, offering a “no wires” working environment, and the FB1180-T cutting table for larger format work.
Additional die-cutting products being shown, working live on the stand will include AeroDieCut and the Morgana Rotary Die-Cutter. The company’s well known booklet making equipment will also be represented, alongside the established DigiFold and AutoCreaser products.
Morgana SC6500
The recently introduced Morgana SC6500 is the newest addition to the company’s extensive range of post-press devices, and the latest extension to its digital die-cutting suite based on the highly successful SC5000 unit.
SC6500 automated sheet-fed digital die-cutter and creaser offers a “no wires” dual tool working environment, with a capacity of 1,000 sheets in its auto-sheet feeder. With the ability to handle substrates of up to 350 microns the unit is able to handle a wide range of finishing actions, including labels and bespoke shapes with no additional tooling costs.
With its unique and reliable vacuum belt feeder, the SC6500 can be left to cut unattended, while the camera registration system automatically retrieves cut files by reading the QR codes on each sheet.
The “no wires” working environment allows users to operate the cutter without the need to connect to a computer or to learn a new software program, meaning the unit to be positioned virtually anywhere in the print production shop.
Morgana ColorCut FB1180-T
The freestanding cutting table FB1180-T offers a larger production device for print businesses working in the large format sector. The product can handle media of up to 860 x 1,180mm and provide a cutting area of 720 x 1,020mm in size. With a cutting depth of up to 3,000 microns and a cutting speed of 1,200mm per second this unit eats through the work at an impressive rate.
