  • The Recognising Excellence Expo is the only in-person UK event of 2021 where printers can learn about the latest print technology and media from multiple OEMs and suppliers

  • Network with print buyers, peers, suppliers, trade houses, and agencies

  • Tickets for the December 2nd event start from just £12*

With their sights set on stimulating the UK’s print economy, organisers of the Recognising Excellence Expo, Networking Lunch and Gala on Thursday, Dec 2nd, 2021 say tickets are selling fast – the event will see printers meet and network with a range of professional print buyers, while learning about the latest technology and media from its 20+ exhibitors.

“This is a real a chance for printers to not only generate new print volumes for their business by meeting buyers at the Networking Lunch, but also bring themselves up to date with new technology and media at the Expo that could make a significant difference to their efficiency, productivity and the value they can deliver to customers,” says Brendan Perring, General Manager of trade body the IPIA – which has organised the event and is being supported all the way by its sister association the BAPC.

Brendan adds: “Whether you can only come to the Expo and Networking Lunch, or are able to stay on for the Gala Dinner, we can promise you it will be a very valuable use of your time. I would urge anyone who hasn’t yet booked to do so, sooner rather than later, to avoid disappointment.

“Traditionally the IPIA participates in or hosts some ten business events a year, but this is our first in-person event for almost two years. Having spoken to many members, it’s fair to say we’ve all missed the human interaction and sense of community and sociability that emanates from our industry. I think that is why this event is proving so popular with printers and suppliers.”

Generate new business

Recognising Excellence takes place at the Crowne Plaza, Stratford-Upon-Avon and runs from 11.00 to 15:00. The Networking Lunch takes place at 12:30 and is followed by the Chairman’s address.

“To remain competitive, you need to understand how technology and the market is evolving, while continuously generating a new pipeline of customers. This event will give printers the chance to do both,” emphasises Brendan.

The Champagne Reception and three-course Gala Dinner starts at 19:00, with the Recognising Excellence Award ceremony running from 21:00. An evening of fantastic live entertainment will then be headlined by celebrated band Hypersonix.

Tickets are available from only £12* for the daytime Networking Lunch and Expo and there are limited spaces left for the evening Gala Dinner. The packages including overnight accommodation at the Crowne Plaza have sold out – but given the venue’s central location in Stratford-Upon-Avon there are a wide range of nearby hotel options that delegates could book.
