Swing into summer networking as the IPIA Annual Golf Day tees off on Wednesday 16th July 2025 at the newly revamped Birstall Golf Club in Leicestershire. Known for its rolling fairways and panoramic views, the venue offers a stunning and accessible backdrop for a day of sport, socialising, and print industry networking.
Attendees will enjoy a full itinerary of competitive fun and professional connection. The day kicks off with breakfast rolls and hot drinks, before players head out for 18 holes of golf on Birstall’s scenic and challenging course. On-course competitions such as Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin will test your accuracy – and new for this year is the exciting ‘Beat the Pro’ challenge, inviting you to take on a seasoned expert for bragging rights.
Alasdair Browne, IPIA Chair, highlights the true value of the event
The IPIA Golf Day is about more than just golf – it’s a chance to step out of the office and engage with peers in a relaxed, friendly setting. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or new to the game, the focus is firmly on enjoyment and connection.
After the final putt drops, the event continues with a laid-back outdoor BBQ, featuring beer, wine, and soft drinks all included in the ticket price. It’s the perfect way to unwind, share stories from the day, and strengthen your professional network.
Tickets are priced at £120 (inc. VAT) and include all food, drink, and golf activities. Hotel accommodation is not included but a list of recommended local options is available upon request.
New or occasional golfers are also welcome – with a limited number of reduced-price places available for those interested in joining the BBQ celebrations.
Whether you’re swinging for the win or simply enjoying the atmosphere, the IPIA Golf Day 2025 promises a great game, great company, and a great way to connect.
