Samaritan’s awareness days held every year on the 24th July – 24/7 to emphasise the fact that Samaritans are here to listen 24 hours a day, seven days a week because anyone could need someone to talk to at any time.
24-hour emotional support is important for people working in print and the allied trades, as many businesses run 24/7 shifts. The Printing Charity is free, confidential helpline is available to provide that support 24 hours a day, secen days a week.
24-hour helpline support is also means reassurance that there is somewhere to turn to straight away, whenever help is needed, both during and outside working hours, whatever those hours may be.
In addition to 24-hour emotional support, the helpline is also the hair for practical advice between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m, Monday to Friday.
