The Printing Charity is looking forward to joining the IPIA for their annual conference, to share information about the practical, emotional and financial support we provide, free of charge, to everyone in print and the allied trades, whether they’re in work, currently unemployed, or in retirement.
Since the charity was established in 1827, the industry we support has changed beyond all recognition, but while the ways we help have also changed, the need for our services remains as important today as it always has been. We know that life doesn’t always go according to plan, and we believe that everyone should have someone to turn to when that is the case.
Printing Charity support for people in our sectors now includes a free, confidential 24/7 employee helpline for in-the-moment emotional support and practical information and advice; annual Rising Star Awards funding training for the sector’s emerging talent; financial support for people struggling with essential everyday expenditure or a sudden, unexpected cost; and two affordable independent living Almshouses for people who’ve retired from a career in our sector.
The best way to understand how we can help is to start a conversation. We look forward to chatting with you at the event about how we could work with your organisation and employees.
In the meantime, you can find out more by visiting our website www.theprintingcharity.org.uk, or following us on social media @printingcharity.
