Leading online print service provider Tradeprint has expanded its print e-commerce offering into Ireland and has partnered with e-commerce platform VB Media to launch its brand-new web-to-print site dedicated to the Irish market.
Headquartered in Dundee and operating from a 4,000sq m site, Tradeprint is a dedicated trade printer servicing print resellers, print managers, print service providers, graphic designers, and print brokers that benefit from Tradeprint’s TP Pro free-to-join incentive scheme in the UK with plans to introduce this in Ireland in the future.
E-commerce has always been at the core of Tradeprint’s operations with the business launching its first e-commerce platform in 2008. Starting out with eBay and Amazon Stores selling business cards and flyers, the company later took its job sheet, created an online order form, and built a website.
Tradeprint’s relationship with VB Media began seven years ago when the company was seeking a partner to provide e-commerce stores to its customers. Since then, VB Media has become a trusted partner and services many Tradeprint Connect white label API customers.
With a focus on reliability, quality, and customer success, Tradeprint’s web-to-print site offers an extensive online print catalogue designed to provide choice, variety, and inspiration. From business cards and packaging to signage or promotional print, Tradeprint’s easy-to-use e-commerce platform makes it simple to order and its online tools and artwork services support those who require design assistance.
Identifying an opportunity to service Ireland having done so previously through Tradeprint’s former Exaprint UK brand before it was retired, Tradeprint decided to build on their relationship and partner with VB Media for the implementation of the new Ireland site.
VB Media was well-equipped and ready to support Tradeprint with the launch, having recently expanded its offering to accommodate different tax and VAT requirements, area codes, and courier services. Coupled with Tradeprint’s robust and mature API technology and in-house developers enabling new products to be added easily in just a few clicks, the implementation process was quick and straightforward with the site ready to go the day after VB Media received the brief.
With the site up and running and with Tradeprint’s Sales and Customer Success Director & Sustainability Lead, Anthony Rowell overseeing the expansion, Tradeprint is now able to sell to customers in Ireland, building on the products and services they can offer in a new geographical market.
“It’s been a seven year-plus relationship, based on a handshake. VB Media looks after customers in the way we do. We see them as a true partner who are enthusiastic, professional, and they have a great sense of humour - it’s one of the easiest relationships we’ve ever had. We’ve been super impressed with the service, the simplicity of updating the site, and the flow of orders. At the price point we have great support and a very attractive website driven by the best software development. I’m very impressed.”
Anthony Rowell, Tradeprint’s Sales and Customer Success Director & Sustainability Lead
“It’s been a pleasure partnering with Tradeprint over the past seven years and to watch the company’s e-commerce offering continue to grow from strength to strength thanks to the continued investment Tradeprint makes in both its web-to-print site and its team. Having recently expanded our geographical offering to support the Irish market and further afield, we were pleased to support Tradeprint as it grows into Ireland with a seamless and straightforward site implementation.”
