As it looks to build upon the new opportunities presented by the post-pandemic digital workplace, Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK has announced key appointments to its senior leadership team.
This marks a major milestone in the company’s ongoing transformation of its end-to-end UK group operations, to support its customers, partners and employees.
Last year, Konica Minolta was recognised by IDC MarketScape as a worldwide leader in print transformation. The company has now transformed its UK group operating model, in a move that is designed to strengthen its ability to serve its customers and partners in a faster and more connected way. It will allow the company to meet its sustainable long-term growth ambitions, enabling its customers and partners to embrace the intelligent connected workplaces of the future.
Mark Ash takes on the role of Chief Revenue Offcer for the UK Group, covering all aspects of sales, marketing and service, overseeing the company’s transformation beyond print. This transformation will be built on Konica Minolta’s comprehensive portfolio of digital workplace products, services and solutions, which include IT managed services, data analytics and process automation capabilities.
The core of Mark’s new role is to drive the company’s customer and partner centric philosophy.
“Every sale comes with a commitment to go above and beyond, to deliver value and a level of service that supports their business goals and exceeds expectations,” says Mark, who adds: “We responded to the impact of the pandemic by accelerating projects to deliver digital transformation. I am excited by the talent, infrastructure and innovative technologies we have, which will enable all public and private sector organisations in the UK to realise significant effciencies and successful adoption of new ways of working.”
Heading up the senior leadership team is CEO, Rob Ferris, who has led the transformation of the company since joining in May 2020.
Rob comments: “We have successfully pivoted our end-toend UK group operating model. In doing so we are instilling a true customer and partner centric approach in everything we do. Breaking down the silos that can exist in large corporate operations and accelerating our ability to provide world class workplace technologies and services on a local level. Today, Konica Minolta is perfectly poised to better serve its customers and partners whilst also taking advantage of the post pandemic opportunity for rapid, sustained and diversified growth.”
Konica Minolta places huge importance on its inclusive and agile company culture as well as supporting the professional and individual needs of its employees across the group. Leading this high-calibre people agenda continues to be the responsibility of Sarah Stone, who takes up the new group role of Chief People Offcer.
Joining Mark and Sarah in the senior leadership team is the new Chief Finance and Operations Offcer, Andy Clegg, with a remit to accelerate data and process automation. Andy has been a key contributor to the UK group and his promotion demonstrates the commitment Konica Minolta has to develop and promote internal talent.
