Last year, we conducted a major research project, The True Picture of People in Print, hearing from a wide range of voices to identify the needs of our sector and help ensure the ways we support people in print can effectively meet them.
Join us for a 30-minute webinar where Peter Ashcroft, Director of Services at The Printing Charity, will talk about what we learnt from people in our sector through our research, and how our services provide support for the issues identified.
We’ll also hear from Michelle Knight, UK Wellbeing Lead at Smurfit Westrock, who will share insights from her experience of supporting wellbeing in the workplace, and how practical approaches can help create real change for people and teams.
Can’t make it live? Register anyway and we’ll send you the recording after the event.
Resources to share
To help you take the conversation into your organisation, we’ve provided links to two of our advice booklets, which you can print and share with colleagues and employees as needed ahead of World Mental Health Day:
- Mental Health Support – Stress & Work-Life Balance
- Mental Health & Wellbeing – Five Ways to Wellbeing
We’ve also included a World Mental Health Day poster, attached to this email, for you to display in your workplace as part of your activity. It provides five simple ways colleagues can support someone who may be struggling with their mental health.
Don’t forget that our Wellbeing Community Hub remains available with a wide range of resources, guides and ideas to support you and your organisation. As an existing member, you can continue to access the hub using the usual password.
Supporting mental wellbeing doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. Small changes, open conversations and knowing where to turn for help can all make a difference.
